All of the fibre blends we stock are made by us right here in Wentworth, using a range of machinery dating from pre-war to present day. Machinery can be a little like us at times and occasionally they can have an "off" day. On days like these the wool will get stuck, fall out, or sometimes "lap" itself around the rollers and need to be cut out. It's here that we get the term "laps" for any fibre which is a perfect quality but might not be quite suitable for selling as new.
Each of these packs is made up of 250gm dyed wool. The colours will be a mix of single colours and blended tops and may contain various amounts of Tussah Silk. All the fibres are of A1 quality though some may have been cut when removed from the machine or fluffed up slightly.
This pack is a great choice if you're after as many different shades for the best possible value (as well as the chance of them including white tussah silk!). The fibres are suitable for wet and needle felting, handspinning or creating your own blends at home.
