Ayala Talpai was one of the first to utilize the industrial felting needle as a hand tool. She went ahead and developed many of the techniques that are still used today. In the forward to the book she makes the light hearted statement that its the first innovation in the fiber arts since the stone age

This is the second book she produced in 2003 and it became a classic for needle felters. Lots of line drawings and instructions and some monochrome photos. Its a book on how to do it.

A very good addition to the needlefelters library.
