A very old breed originating from the Isle of Man. A multi-horned sheep, with 4 to 6 horns, the Loughton has a medium quality feel, being 30-31.5 micron, and staple length of 6-12cm. Loaghton translates from Manx as mouse brown, which is a perfect description of this shade.
