This light grey/off white British wool is a good strong fibre for spinning and feltmaking when you're after a little more strenght in your creation. Traditionally a carpet quality wool as it has a fair amount of kemp. These are the strong but brittle hair that gives the mountain sheep their toughness. It looks better than it feels. If you spin a lot of moutain quality wool it will eventually wear grovves in flyer hooks! Though be warned, it takes a fair amount of hard work to get it to felt, but the results are worth it.
