The Wingham Bulb Spray is an excellent little tool that you may not even know you need, but trust us; once you've used this you won't ever go back.
One thing the majority of us are guilty of when wet felting is to use too much water. The old adage "less is more" is certainly true, especially if you don't want a sodden workspace within 5 mins of getting started.
With the Wingham Bulb Spray you can easily control not only how much water is being used, but also make sure you're getting it on the parts that really need it. Fibres only need to be damp to felt, not soaking wet.
Make up your soap solution in separate container, dip the end of the bulb into it squeeze and release. The bulb will draw up the water which can then be drizzled over the work through the dispensing head, meaning you can use as little or as much as you like.
We like to use olive oil soap solution as its low foaming and kind to your hands. Just grate some of our oliva soap into hot water to make a stock solution.
*Top Tip: An alternative spray is to pierce holes into the lid of a plastic milk bottle, fill with soapy water and use in the same way.
