Whiteface Woodland, also going by the name Penistone, is a great wool that is soft to the touch. It originates from the South Pennies, so is one of our more local breeds.

14cm staple (avg), 32 micron.

The company was relocating to Gloucestershire and so not unexpectedly there was a small delay in despatch of fibre. Good prices for my choice and ready to continue practising my spinning. Disappointed that big-ticket items like the spinning wheels etc are not available via Clearpay, which makes larger purchases accessible.
