These days merino is a standard fibre used throughout the world for both fibre-crafts and commercial clothing. In fact this is the white version of or our Dyed Merino range, so will have the same properties of all of our dyed colours.
Merino is suitable for both spinning and felting, giving a soft finish that is gentle against the skin. As this wool is 21 micron is isn't really suitable for felted projects that might need to be a little more hardwearing, such as slippers or bags, but can be used for adding finishing decorations to a piece.
If you are after a durable white wool then we suggest you take a look at the White Falkand.
