Our range of Recycled Sari Silks are a by-product of the weaving industry: Vast rolls of silk are woven which are then cut and trimmed before being sent off to the designers. It's these trimmings which are then processed, first pulling the fibres apart and then carding them to create this absolutely beautiful range of carded sliver.
They're ideal for adding small amounts to other fibres, so if you're already creating your own carded wools at home for handspinning these silks would be the perfect additional to give that extra "pop". Alternatively you can handspin them direct, the final yarns being absolutely stunning!
Note: This is a recycled product and so colour variation may exist between batches.
