Ashford Rigid Heddle Loom

I love my new loom, very high quality, it arrived when expected, perfectly packed and packaged. It was quite straightforward to assemble the loom, everything is included except a Philips head screwdriver. I have made a few items and they have turned out beautifully.

I've been wanting to upgrade in terms of size from my current 40cm RHL, and was torn between the 80cm and the 120cm. I opted for the 120cm - and it is a beast!

Easy to assemble with just one person, instructions are pretty straight forward.

Looking foward to warping it up for the first time this weekend

The loom is easy to set up and use, with clear instructions. It feels solid, but not heavy. As an inexperienced weaver this is a perfect introduction.

I ordered the 48” loom as I plan to make large throws but also want the option of making scarves if needed too. The loom is beautiful and wood is great quality! I haven’t assembled it yet as the wood comes unfinished- I am staining it a walnut colour and sealing with wax. I can’t wait to get started! Delivery to NI was free (thank you as we have a lot of bother getting larger items shipped from the mainland!), super quick and easy. I ordered the 15 DPI reed as well- definitely recommend Wingham wool work!

The loom was very easy to assemble and as a complete beginner the starting up instructions were very clear. It was no where near as daunting as I thought it would be . I am definitely pleased with the quality of the loom , nice wood and sturdy .

I am absolutely loving my rigid heddle loom. I bought the 32" model and love the flexibility it offers. It's beautifully constructed (even my husband is impressed) and really easy to use once you get the hang of it.

My only disappointment is that I broke my arm and now have to wait 6 weeks before I can get going again! Weaving will be not just a joy but possibly an addiction.

This 40 cm loom was the perfect choice for a beginner. Easy to construct and use. The instructions in this accompanying booklet are really clear. An (almost perfect) scarf was produced on the first day of use. I think weaving is going to be addictive.
