A luxury blend of 50% fine cashmere and 50% Tussah Silk. The result is a light toffee shade combining the lustre of the silk with the soft handle of the cashmere. When spinning a little goes a long way. Producing a handspun fine yarn from this blend would enable the creation of a real luxury garment at a relativly low cost.

We have created some beautiful shawls for the family from this blend.

I spun this up into a lace weight and it was smooth, fine, clump-free and a pleasure to work with.
