Ashford Threading Hook-Spinning

I restore pre-loved wheels to full working order and they are often missing their original hooks. These are a good, basic hook that is fine not only for Ashford wheels, but for most other wheels with a reasonably sized orifice too. I have found them to be very durable as well as an ecomonic purchase. Though they are provided with a tape to make a loop, I often replace this with a ribbon in the colour of my choice; or, in my more creative moments, make braided tassles from embroidery thread, ribbon or odd bits of yarn. This makes them less easy to to mislay and adds a bit of individuality at minimal cost.
