The Wingham Wool Comb is a robust, traditional fibre-preparation tool designed to produce beautifully aligned, high-quality top for worsted spinning. By separating shorter fibres, removing nepps and vegetable matter, and drawing off perfectly parallel long fibres, the Wingham Wool Comb gives spinners full control over the character of their yarn. It’s especially effective with British longwools such as Wensleydale, Teeswater and Leicester, but also handles medium and fine fibres with ease.

Crafted with durability in mind, each comb features strong stainless-steel tines securely fixed into a solid wooden handle, shaped for comfort during extended use. This tool is ideal for spinners who enjoy preparing their own top and want reliable, repeatable results.
