The Wingham Blending Board & Table Carder is a versatile fibre preparation tool designed for creating custom blends, colour gradients, and textured batts. Combining the functionality of a blending board with the stability of a small table carder, it allows you to prepare fibres efficiently while maintaining excellent control over colour placement and fibre distribution.

Fibres are layered onto the carding cloth using hand carders or by hand, allowing you to build up colour combinations or fibre mixes exactly as you want them. Once loaded, the fibres can be lifted off as a batt or rolags, ready for spinning or felting. This makes it ideal for experimenting with colour, creating art batts, or preparing fibres for handspinning.

The board is designed to sit securely on a work surface, giving stability while you work and making it comfortable to use for longer blending sessions. Its size makes it particularly useful for preparing smaller batches while still giving enough working area to create interesting blends.

The adjustable keel allows the board to be set at three different angles depending on how you want it to sit on your table, providing optimum comfort and control while carding. The keel can also be turned to a vertical position, with the legs gripping the keel, allowing the board to be used on your lap for greater flexibility and mobility.

Built with the same attention to quality as other Wingham tools, it is designed for regular use by spinners and fibre artists.

A very sturdy and well-made blending board

I was originally going to purchase an Ashford blending Board, but decided on the Wingham one instead. I was not disappointed as it is very sturdy and well-made. I can thoroughly recommend the Wingham blending board.

Came quickly and we�llPackaged with good communication about delivery Board is pretty sturdy and looks well constructed. Has all the pieces you need to use it; sticks, carding brush, clamps and the stand. I�ve not used it yet as I�m new to this so can�t comment on that (and it may not e fair when I don�t know how to do it yet). I�ve used this company for various things now and always good service and products.

I love this board, it is easy to use both on a table, or as I prefer on my lap.The joy of picking fibre from a bag of laps and blending this to create my own yarn has been a revelation.The board is a great size for managing 50/100g projects. It is well constructed and I am sure it will give me many years of service.
