Natural Dye - Myrobalan Dark

Myrobalan (Dark) is a traditional tannin-rich mordant derived from the fruit of the Terminalia chebula tree. It provides a warm, slightly yellow tone that enhances dye uptake and deepens natural colours on cellulose fibres. The dark variant offers richer tannin content, giving stronger colour buildup and increased fastness.

This fine-ground powder from Kraftkolour mixes easily with water and is suitable for both small-batch and professional setups. Often used as the first stage in mordanting before alum, Myrobalan ensures brilliant, lasting colour in natural dye projects.
