Kraftkolour’s Pre-Reduced Indigo 60% Dye offers the deep, classic beauty of indigo with far greater convenience than traditional indigo vats. Unlike standard indigo powders that require careful vat chemistry and reducing agents, this pre-reduced form has already undergone the reduction process, allowing it to dissolve directly in water with minimal preparation. This makes it an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced dyers who want reliable indigo colour without the complexity of maintaining a traditional vat. Suitable for cotton, linen, silk and wool, it produces the familiar indigo blues — from soft sky tones to deep, rich navy — depending on the number of dips and dye strength.
With a high 60% indigo content, this dye delivers strong colour saturation while remaining economical to use. It’s ideal for studios, workshops and small-scale production where consistency, speed and ease of use are important.
Pre-Reduced Indigo is also perfect for resist techniques such as tie-dye and shibori, where predictable results and a clean setup make the dyeing process much easier to manage.
