Alkanet Powder, also known as Ratanjot, is a natural dye made from the roots of the Alkanna tinctoria plant. This earthy, versatile dye produces a stunning range of shades—from deep greys and purples to rich burgundy tones—depending on pH and mordant. It’s ideal for dyers who love subtle, organic hues with an elegant, vintage feel. Each batch offers its own personality, making it a favourite among artisans who value truly unique results.
