How fantastic to have access to a very reasonably priced maintenance kit to repair a very old wheel to give it a new lease of life instead of the modern option of more land fill!
Brilliant product. Everything I need to get my wheel running smoothly. Had recently bought second hand wheel to learn how to spin and was really struggling as wheel was jerky and not running smoothly. My friend recommended this kit and it was a game changer. I was shopping just for oil for my spinning wheel and that was out of stock when I looked, so I bought this little kit. Seemed handy as my spinning wheel is pre owned and quite old. What a fortuitous purchase! The oil is great of course, just what I needed but I�ve also already replaced my nylon brake band which snapped unexpectedly, probably because it is quite old and brittle, and the spring. I�m very happy to have the replacement drive band, leather rod joint and lots of hooks on hand for when I will need them. As I get to know my spinning wheel, I realise that ongoing maintenance and upkeep is key to keeping it running smoothly. This kit is compact, comprehensive and great value for money. I am reassured to have it readily available. Shipping was fast and easy and the final cherry on top was the lovely wool batting my order was wrapped in for padding - I have already spun it all up during my practice!
