The Ashford Katie Table Loom is a compact, fully functional eight-shaft loom designed for weavers who want the versatility of multi-shaft weaving in a portable format. With a 30cm (12in) weaving width and folding design, it is particularly well suited to sampling, workshops, courses and travelling, without limiting the range of weave structures you can explore.

Despite its compact size, the Katie offers all eight shafts, opening up an enormous range of possibilities for experimenting with patterns and more complex weave structures. Smooth levers make shaft selection easy, while the overhead beater automatically returns to position. The beater can also be flipped up and out of the way to provide easier access when threading.

One of the Katie's biggest advantages is its portability. The loom folds with your weaving still in place and weighs approximately 6.5kg, making it easy to take to weaving groups, workshops and demonstrations. A padded zipped carry bag with shoulder strap is included.
