These look lacquered in photo but are not

I was a bit disappointed as the photo of these bobbins look as if they are lacquered, which I felt justified the higher price than most other sellers. However when they arrived they were rather basic and a bit rough. It will cost me more postage to return them so I'll keep them, but felt it is worth pointing out.
