The e-spinner arrived very promptly and well packaged. It took a while to assemble the break band (the instructions could be a little clearer). However, it spins well and is very quiet. I've been spinning on an Ashford Traveller for over 45 years and I must say the e-spinner takes a bit of getting used to! I am enjoying the fact that I can sit anywhere with it and the carry bag will make it easy for me to take wherever my travels take me. I'm very pleased with it.

I have been spinning for several years on a traditional type of wheel but find the e - spinner so much easier to use and not having to treadle does save the ankle joints! Worth every penny and a light but robust machine.

I'm really pleased with my new toy. It arrived very quickly. I found it a bit tricky to get the tension right but it's all sorted now and spins lovely. I absolutely love the large bobbins which are going to to be great for plying.

This is my first spinner and I chose an electric one simply for space saving as most wheels would take up too much space (which I don't have). It's a very compact machine which fits neatly on my bedside table when I want to spin in bed. Actually this is the only time that I do spin and I can easily watch something on my laptop as well as spin simultaneously. The parcel came with clear instructions on how to put certain parts together. It's not a lot of work but I do advise you get rid of all distractions for half an hour or so while you assemble these bits. My first attempt at spinning on the e-spinner was not great but this was due to inexperience. After a week of frustrations I finally managed to get a good rhythm and could get it to spin without the ply constantly breaking. I have been using the machine fairly regularly since May when I purchased it and a big part of that is because it just fits so easily on my bedside table that I've rarely put it away. I really enjoy working with the e-spinner, it's straight forward, space saving and gives a good amount of yarn quickly (if you up the speed dial). I almost always ply on it too even when I've spun on drop spindles - again it's just very straightforward. Highly recommend this machine and Wingham delivered very quickly and securely with absolutely no issues.
