Good service the flyer arrived 2-3 days from order. There weren�t options for postage it was flat rate which was quite expensive considering it wasn�t next day but parcel arrived timely and was packed very well. Item arrived with all the components needed. It�s unfinished wood so I applied some ashford wax to mine that I already have. Hooks are easy to fit by hand. Changing the bearing was straight forward. I had enough break band to loosen and fit over the larger bobbin. I also didn�t change the drive band I just used the ratio that was similar to my standard flyer size and it fit. It was noisy on first use and had to adjust the angle of the uprights to slightly inwards to stop the flyer moving forward and back. A tip from textile indies you tube video on installing a jumbo flyer. This reduced the noise a lot and with plenty of oil hopefully it will be fairly quiet. The kit comes with a reducer so you can still use your standard flyer without changing the bearing. I was so pleased that my standard flyer wasn�t affected in terms of noise or movement and works as it always has. The jumbo bobbin fits 200g of yarn easily which means I don�t have to cut the singles as much. Really pleased with the flyer and happy with the service from Wingham will definitely buy from again.
