As I have aged, my ability to manage my large draw loom failed. However, thanks to this simple efficient loom I can still weave. So many little things make it special. The bungies on the overhead beater. The cotter pins to hold the beater whilst sleying the reed. The fact that it folds down to almost nothing! I cannot recommend this loom enough. 4 shafts might seem very few after 10 ground shafts and 60 pattern shafts on my draw loom, but less is more. Even before I bought it, I have been playing with ideas for pattern and cloth. If you don't have one, get one!
