I recently bought some unspecified merino tops and then decided to challenge myself to spinning as fine as I could to make lace weight or finer. I then ordered merino tops from Wingham Wool 70s and 14 micron , what a difference . They are both noticeably finer and softer.Cannot wait to get spinning, maybe cobweb is achievable.
