Our Corriedale White is a beautifully balanced wool that combines softness with structure. Sourced from Corriedale sheep, this natural white fibre is ideal for a wide range of wool crafts, offering excellent definition for both felting and spinning projects.

Features:

Medium-fine handle – Soft enough for next-to-skin use, yet with enough body for 3D felting and structured garments.
Bright natural white – A clean base that takes dye beautifully or works well on its own for snowy landscapes, animals, or undyed yarns.
Reliable staple length – Easy to draft for hand-spinners, with good grip and consistency.
Perfect for felting – Great for wet felting, needle felting, and 3D sculpting thanks to its excellent felting properties.

Lovely wool!

I bought this wool for a challenging project: from spinning to weaving Dutch lakenstof, similar as the English broadcloth. We know from ancient sources that lakenstof was woven from wool with long staple. The Cotswold wool was perfect for that! Even for a beginner like me, the wool was perfect for spinning. So good that the thread can even be used as a warp thread, this after sizing the warp. All in all, I am very satisfied with the wool, service and shipping from Wingham Wool.

Nice wool.

I love this wool, it's easy to spin for a non proffessional person as the staples are quite long.
