Ashford Dye: Chocolate

Bring your fibre to life with the brilliant, long-lasting colours of Ashford Protein Dyes. Developed specifically for wool, silk and other protein fibres, these highly concentrated acid dyes produce rich, vibrant shades that are perfect for hand spinners, felters, weavers and textile artists.

Easy to use at home, Ashford Protein Dyes require only heat and ordinary white vinegar as the fixative, making them an excellent choice for beginners and experienced dyers alike. Their concentrated formula means a little goes a long way – just 10g of dye is enough to colour up to 1kg of fibre or yarn at full strength, while lighter shades can be achieved with even less dye.

Available in a wide range of beautiful colours, the dyes can be used individually or mixed together to create an almost endless palette of custom shades, giving you complete creative freedom for your next project.
