Jumbo Carded Wool Batt: Nimlet

Each Giant Carded Wool Batt is made in our Gloucestershire mill using fibres from the Wingham range. The finished batt measures approximately 170cm x 65cm, although the exact dimensions and thickness may vary slightly depending on the fibres used.

A wool batt is a soft, lofty sheet of fibre produced by passing wool through a carding engine. The fibres are opened, blended and gently aligned, creating an airy preparation that is ideal for hand spinning, felting and other fibre crafts.

We follow the same recipe for each colour or blend, but because these batts are made in batches from natural fibres, some variation is to be expected. The distribution of colours, texture and overall appearance may differ slightly from batch to batch and from the product photographs shown.

This natural variation is part of the character of a carded batt and means that every one is slightly unique.
