How to Order
You may have noticed that this website doesn't have the "shopping-cart" style system of ordering you might find elsewhere. Over the past 30 years of offering a mail-order service we've found that many people prefer to speak to a real person when ordering: queries can be answered, advice given and of course we get to know our regular customers quite well! We are considering offering direct on-line ordering for the future, but what we don't want to do is rush through a new system.
Official orders and requisitions are accepted from Local Authorities, Schools and Government departments
All prices on this list include VAT at the current rate

There are currently 3 ways to place an order;

- Office hours are 9.30 - 12.30 and 1.30 - 5, Monday to Thursday
Simply give us a call and let us know what you want. It helps if you have the order codes handy but these aren't vital. We don't run a huge switchboard with hundreds of call-takers, so sometimes the phone line may be a bit busy. If this is the case then sit back, have a cup of tea and try again in half an hour!
Mail
Snail-Mail is still alive and kicking! An order form can be downloaded HERE or you can simply write out what you'd like. Please include your full postal address and payment, either by cheque or card details.
E-Mail
When ordering please provide us with your full name, postal address and contact details. Do not send card details by email! Once your order has been received we will reply with a link to a secure server to ensure that all your details are kept safe.
Fax

Discounts
Everyone likes a discount! Rather than use a complicated discount system, we keep prices as low as possible to start with. We ensure that when buying small quantities you are not charged a premium, giving you the flexibility to experiment and be creative.
Dyed Merino
£50 or more - 5% discount
All other fibres, needlepunch and roving
£200 or more - 10% discount
£400 or more - 20% discount
£500 or more - 25% discount
Delivery Times
Officially we state that orders will arrive within 14 days. However, the reality is that parcels normally leave us within 2-3 days of being ordered. If you require your order urgently. then we do offer a priority service. This guarantees next day delivery if the order is placed before 11am.
Very rarely when items are out of stock and we are awaiting delivery it can take up to 28 days for us to despatch the order.
Returns Policy
Should you receive any item which you are not happy with the first thing you should do is get in touch with us. Ideally we can sort out any problems over the phone or by mail.
If any faults occur within 12 months of purchasing equipment we will either rectify the problem or replace the item.
As consumers you are entitled to return any unopened product within 7 days of receiving it for a full refund, however return postage costs must be paid by the consumer.
Should any goods arrive which are faulty or damaged we will pay for return postage and replace the item(s), though please contact us before returning items.
At all times we will comply with the current legislation concerning the Sale of Goods Act
