The Smart 350p needle punching machine. Felting, embellishing - experimenting - the Smart 350p is the ultimate in creative fun for everyone who loves special effects. The needlepunch process has been used on an industrial scale  for many years. This machine utilises well established techniques but on a much smaller scale.

If you are a Feltmaker it will enhance your ability to decorate your felts. Used in conjunction with our range of fibres and needle pre felts the possibilities are infinite.

For Embroiderers it increases the types of materials you can incorporate into your work. Virtually anything can be used.

We have machines on display for you to try out at Wentworth. As we are suppliers of felting materials we can offer advice to non feltmakers.

The Smart 350 p is not a sewing machine - it is a "needle punching machine". Instead of using thread, it works with several specially shaped barbed on the edge needles to create the most unbelievable effects. All you need are scraps of fabric, yarn, wool,  denim, silk – each material results in a different effect.

Just lay two or more materials on top of one another and you’re ready to go. The needles of the smart 350 p mesh the fibres of the fabrics together. The results are whimsical details and dramatic surfaces. It’s pure creative fun and an unlimited source of inspiration.
